At American Garages we build only custom-built garages.   Nothing is pre-fabricated, ensuring a great-looking, well-built garage that will last!  There's no pre-fabricated headaches to worry about during or after completion of your new garage.  The exteriors can be matched to your existing home design, you can even specify no-maintenance vinyl siding.

We are a family-owned-and-operated business.  We are not a franchise of any sort and have been in business consistently since 1941.  We started building garages in the Chicago area during the World War II era and have branched out ever since.   We have been in the Black Hills area since 1987. 

Our Thoughts:

We believe, in order to do quality work, we must have a hands-on approach to your garage.  No other sub-contractors are used while building your new garage.  The carpenters you see during the first day of work, will be the carpenters you see when your garage is finished.   We stay with one garage until it is complete, we do not jump from job to job.
